Ordelia Home is an online store operated in Portugal by Oluchi Iheoma, trading as Ordelia Home. Our complete business contact information is available on the Contact Information page.
These Terms govern your use of our website and purchases from Ordelia Home. They apply together with our Privacy, Shipping and Return and Refund Policies.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available under Portuguese or European Union law.
- Using our store
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order. You agree to provide accurate billing, delivery and contact information.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You must not misuse the website, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access or use the Services for an unlawful purpose.
- Product information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and availability are accurate. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
Please read all product specifications, age limits, safety warnings, installation instructions and weight restrictions before purchasing or using a product.
Children’s products must be used only as described and with appropriate adult supervision. Ceiling-mounted products must be installed by a competent adult into a structure suitable for the stated load.
- Prices, taxes and payment
The total product price, applicable taxes and delivery charges will be displayed before you submit your order.
Payment must be authorised through one of the payment methods available at checkout. We do not add undisclosed charges after an order is placed.
- Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted when we send confirmation that it has been accepted or dispatched.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch because of unavailable stock, a payment problem, suspected fraud, a delivery restriction or an obvious pricing error. If payment has already been collected for a cancelled order, we will refund it.
Please contact us immediately if you need to correct or cancel an order. We cannot guarantee changes after fulfilment has begun.
- Fulfilment and delivery
Products may be dispatched directly by approved European fulfilment partners. Orders containing products from different locations may arrive in separate parcels.
Available shipping methods, charges and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed, but we will contact you if we become aware of a significant delay.
When Ordelia Home arranges delivery, the risk of loss or damage remains with us until you, or a third party chosen by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

- Returns and consumer guarantees
EU consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase, subject to legal exceptions.
New movable goods sold by a trader established in Portugal are generally protected by a three-year statutory conformity period. Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include repair, replacement, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract.

- Intellectual property
The Ordelia Home name, website content, text, graphics and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website for personal shopping purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit its content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and product materials remain the property of their respective owners.
- Third-party services
Our store is powered by Shopify and may use third-party providers for payments, fulfilment, delivery and other services.
Your purchase contract is with Ordelia Home, not Shopify or our fulfilment providers. Ordelia Home remains responsible to you as the seller.
External websites linked from our store are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
- Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, defective products or mandatory consumer remedies.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
- Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for future use of the store to reflect changes in our services, practices or legal obligations.
The version in effect when your order is accepted will apply to that order.
- Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Consumers living elsewhere retain any mandatory protections provided by the law applicable in their country of residence.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint. Information about an appropriate consumer alternative-dispute-resolution body will be provided where required.
